WSAVA World Congress – Colombia : FREE registration for IVSA volunteers!
The 41st World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) World Congress will be held in Cartagena, Colombia this year from the 27th to the 30th of September, 2016.
This 4-day congress is one of the biggest veterinary events in the world and offers lectures on all topics within veterinary medicine (surgery, neurology, emergency, cardiology, welfare, one health, etc.) from world renowned speakers.
Besides attending the lectures, you’ll have the opportunity to network with veterinarians from all over the world, representatives of international organizations/companies during the exhibition and enjoy the ‘Beach Party’.
Volunteers, signed up through IVSA, will receive FREE registration (which is worth $595,-)
As a volunteer you’ll be working the registration booth, bag collection or assisting the speakers in the rooms. We’ll make sure that everyone has enough time to enjoy the lectures as well. There will be a big group of student volunteers so it will be fun even while ‘working’.
You would have to pay for your own flight ticket and accommodation is NOT included in the price but is cheap in Cartagena (can be as low as €10 per night) . Some universities are willing to sponsor part of the trip since it is benefiting your education. If you’d like an official letter for your university, we can provide one.
If you want to be a volunteer, please send a short introduction and why you would like to be a volunteer to firstname.lastname@example.org (first come first serve!)
