EAEVE and IVSA: Student Involvement in Faculties’ Accreditation

Do you want to be involved in the visitation and accreditation of veterinary faculties all over Europe?

You can do so by being a part of ESEVT, the European System of Evaluation of Veterinary Training, with EAEVE.

How does it work?
If you become an approved nominee, you can be contacted by EAEVE to join an ESEVT Visitation Team for evaluation of one specific European veterinary faculty at a certain time.

Your travels and accommodation will be arranged and funded by the school to visit. As student representative, one of your jobs will be to evaluate what the student experience is like in this school. You have to spend time getting to know the students and understand their issues and experiences. You get to report back to EAEVE how the students feel and think about their education. Of course, there will be help from EAEVE in preparing yourself. You will be send a set of documents (i.e. self-assessment report of the Faculty) you’ll have to read through before the visitation starts and you’ll have to do the E-learning course for ESEVT experts on education and accreditation.
