Brand new EMS bursaries for 2018!

Vets4Pets are really excited to have launched their new EMS bursaries  J. They are the first and only bursaries offered by a large veterinary employer in the UK and all students will go to an EMS centre of excellence in the Group

     30 small animal clinical EMS bursaries are available for vet students in their clinical years

     Each bursary is worth £180/week for a max of 4 weeks of EMS – so a total of £720!

     Placements locations are available around the country in Vets4Pets and Companion Care EMS centres of excellence

     EMS resources to support placements including clinical skills guides and case studies

     New online booking tool also now available for all EMS placements www.vets4pets.com/ems

Student Ambassador Programme

 

  • A brand new development and leadership opportunity for vet students
  • In our first year we’re looking for applications only from current 1st and 4th years (2nd and 5th year in academic year 2018/19)
  • Students taking part be offered;

o   An annual bursary payment of £200 for duration of the programme

o   A dedicated career and life mentor through the Vets4Pets mentor network

o   An invite to the Vets4Pets student ambassador conference (2 days every year)(one day clinical one day non-clinical)

o   Opportunities to come to BSAVA and LVS with the Vets4Pets team

o   Opportunities to come to events such as DogFest and VetFest with the Vets4Pets team

o   Priority for business EMS placements

o   EMS bursary placement (2 weeks)

o   Opportunity to attend a Vets4Pets graduate CPD event

o   And more which will follow…..

  • In return all we ask is that you let your fellow students know about any opportunities we have – e.g. EMS bursaries, business EMS placements, clinical and non-clinical talks and participate in local focus groups to help us understand how we can support students more
