The principle goals of IVSA are: - to raise the overall standard of veterinary education by increasing international and inter-cultural exchange of ideas and knowledge - to promote opportunities for veterinary students to undertake education in important areas outside their normal training, for example management, welfare and environmental issues, technical language training, and specialization unique to another country.
The 12th Congress of the ISACB (International Society of Animal Chemical Biochemistry) will be held in Istanbul, 22-26 May 2006. We cordially invite you to Istanbul in spring time for this satisfying scientific congress.
Student members of IVSA are now getting the opportunity to attend the Continuing Education (CE) meeting arranged by WSAVA, under different circumstances as before. The meeting is hosted by different countries in Eastern Europe, South America and Asia several times a year. It is a great way of gaining knowledge about a specific veterinary topic by getting lectures from renowned speakers and meet other students and veterinarians! What benefits the IVSA students can gain by offering help to the local organisers, is something that has to be agreed between the students and the local WSAVA representative.
